Located
Travel
27 km east of Don Muang International Airport along Lam Luk Ka Rd., and
you will find the 36-hole Lam Luk Ka Country Club. Using Bangkok's
early paddy-field courses as its role model, this pleasant, modern course
contains many wide fairways and large greens. Although only opened
in 1994, a lot of time and effort has gone into creating a pleasantly
shaded atmosphere by planting an abundance of trees and shrubs.
Any golfer wishing to play a decent round at Lam Luk Ka will have to think
carefully about his shots as the course is based on a premium of accuracy,
rather than power play. Water lines both sides of the fairway on
a couple of holes, which make Lam Luk Ka quite a difficult, yet fun course. |
